THE LONE RANGER is one of the movies that I am having trouble deciding whether I really want to see or if I can wait for Blu-ray. Granted, I like the work of director Gore Verbinski and star Johnny Depp rarely disappoints, but the movie just doesn’t hook me with either of the first trailers. But, maybe the final trailer can change my mind.

Premiering at 4pm EST, Yahoo Movies will present a live Q&A session with stars Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer along with director Verbinski and producer Jerry Bruckheimer. This group will undoubtedly sing the praises of THE LONE RANGER, but they will also be giving us the newest trailer for the action western.

Here’s the official synopsis for THE LONE RANGER:

Native American spirit warrior Tonto (Johnny Depp) recounts the untold tales that transformed John Reid (Armie Hammer), a man of the law, into a legend of justice—taking the audience on a runaway train of epic surprises and humorous friction as the two unlikely heroes must learn to work together and fight against greed and corruption.

You can watch the Q&A and trailer premieres below as soon as they go online.

After seeing the third trailer, I feel that Disney is trying to rebrand this is a much more serious action movie than the comedic style prevalent in the prior trailers. We now get the motivation for John Reid to seek vengeance for the death of his brother. We get our first looks at Barry Pepper and James Badge Dale in this new trailer that looks to have some truly exciting sequences in store for us. But, I just can’t shake the feeling that this is going to be more WILD, WILD WEST than PIRATES OF THE CARIBBEAN.

THE LONE RANGER also stars Helena Bonham Carter, William Fichtner, Tom Wilkinson, Barry Pepper, James Badge Dale, and Ruth Wilson. It opens in theaters on July 3, 2013.
