Over at AVPGalaxy, the dudes have done an interview with Ian Whyte, who played one of the Predators in AVP, and is again donning the p*ssyface again in ALIEN VS. PREDATOR 2. In the interview, which covers how Whyte became an actor and his experiences on both AVP movies, Whyte details some of the good stuff that the Strause Brothers have cooked up to wash the bad taste Paul Anderson left in many fans’ mouths. Among the tidbits Whyte revealed was the welcome fact that there won’t be any football player costumes in this one!
“Apart from little design stylisations to make the character unique, the new costume is entirely reminiscent of the original; it was very tight fitting and was designed to make the Predator more svelte, lithe and athletic in appearance.” OH HELL YES! And I bet there aren’t any brown-eyed Predators in this one, either! As well, when asked to choose which of the two films he preferred working on, AVP2 came up again. “AVP was a great film and was hugely successful, but as far as the concept of battles between Aliens and Predators goes; you ain’t seen nothing yet!”
I wonder if Anderson gets the message? To read the entire interview, click here.
