Now here’s an interesting flick I
haven’t heard of before, but am sorry I haven’t. This week on TCM Underground,
host Rob Zombie will be showing the 1973 biker cop/ modern day cowboy flick
ELECTRA GLIDE IN BLUE.

Directed by Chicago (the band) producer James William Guercio and starring the
ass-biting Robert Blake, the film is a modern interpretation of the classic
cowboy flick, revolving around Blake as a motorcycle cop who can’t get a
promotion because he’s too short. After stumbling upon a murder scene, he’s able
to gain the promotion he’s looking for, but than begins to regret the promotion
when he discovers how corrupt his commanding officer is.

The movie seems pretty cool, and is a perfect example of the extent that Rob
Zombie and TCM are going to really get people behind this Underground program.
