Sigh. You meant "existence," I presume. At least he spelled "Darfur" right…

This typo pops up in the trailer for Uwe Boll's DARFUR movie and yes, Uwe Boll is making a Darfur movie, despite the fact that Darfur has in no way, ever been a video game. Spell-checking aside, there’s not a whole lot you can really say about the trailer, it certainly does feature African people dying, but I have to say I doubt that Uwe Boll is the man to give the tragic situation over there the movie treatment it deserves.

His latest film, RAMPAGE, about a guy who goes on a killing spree with homemade kevlar armor, is supposed to actually be good (well, good by Uwe Boll standards at least), so maybe he’s let that go to his head, and now he thinks he’s shooting for the Oscars with this project.

Check out the trailer below. To me it looks like a slightly lower budgeted version of 24’s Redemption mini-movie that aired last year.

Unlike most I have no hate of Boll
He can make as much original material as he wants. He can surprise me and do something good. I don't care, I just want him to stop purchasing the rights to video games and completely making his own thing up and limply hang a franchise off it.

Why the fuck does this guy keep getting movies? who allows this shit to happen?!
he made aweful videogame adaptations, and then they think he is going to be paul greengrass and make a serious film?!

this is a very touchy subject so why the fuck would they allow some hack to make a movie about it?!
and it looks awful. the plot seems like it should be exciting but god...

As for Boll's hopes of making a good movie, at the rate he cranks movies out, I suppose you throw enough shit at the wall, something's gotta stick, right?

and if we're going to be pedantic (and I am), the capital "G" in genocide is really not necessary either. And wouldn't it be "A" Uwe Boll film rather than "An". Doesn't give the greatest impression of professionalism does it? Ok Boll, I'm calling you out right here, right now!
