By now, most of you have heard that the most recent trailer for the Michal Bay-directed TRANSFORMERS featured a code that could be used in the cryptic TRANSFORMER-related site Sector Seven in order to reveal a secret and that said secret was a goddamn dinobot appearance. In case you didn't quite figure everything out, schmoe extraordinaire Corey was kind enough to do the legwork and provide us with a still of the dinobot in action. Well-played, Bay. Well-played. TRANSFORMERS opens July 4th.

Extra Tidbit: During filming, KNB Effects provided animatronics to portray the Transformers.

The winged dinobot you are referring to is Swoop. The 5 dinobots are Grimlock (T-Rex), Snarl (Stegosaurus), Sludge (Brontosaurus), Slag (Triceratops) and Swoop (Pterodactyl).

If you incorporated every Transformer that made the toy line or the cartoon series, you'd have a lot of characters to bring into the fold in 1 single movie. There were well over 100 Autobots alone.

what the heel
yeah i actually saw some tiny insecticons in those trailers to as well as the winged dinobot. i went to a tranformers screening recently. it was only about a half hour of footage and boy was it cheesy, but no signs of these old favorites. they did have some bullshit scorpion transformer in the middle of iraq. with such a wealth of characters do we need new ones like this?

Grimlock looks great but why the hell is he cartoon accurtate but nobody else it? I don’t think Dinobots are going to be in the movie. Would be sweet though

Don't think Dinobot's are in the film
I don't think the Dinobot's are in the film, think it's just an in joke on the site as it also has Soundwave's cassette's in the evidence videos

ILM is doing the CGI effects for Transformers. KNB does makeup effects, not CGI. Just thought I'd point that out.
