Editing with The Hulk!

After talking with the director of THE INCREDIBLE HULK during an edit bay visit (one which you will be reading the full report on soon), Louis Leterrier and producers Gale Anne Hurd and Kevin Feige all really want you to know that this new and improved Hulk is “totally separate from the original film.”. “This is not a sequel… this is not an origin story.” But they did reveal that this would be a “chase movie” so look forward to action that is closer in tone to the original series with Bill Bixby and Lou Ferrigno (who is also featured in the new film).

Truthfully, I felt that the official trailer looked weak and wasn’t looking forward to seeing THE INCREDIBLE HULK kick arse on the big screen, but what I saw today has changed my outlook. This looks like it might just be what the original film should have been. The CG Hulk looks much better than I thought he would and I get the feeling that Louis has a perfect vision for this green icon. It seems some work has been done on the Hulkster since the original trailer was released and what I saw looked much more impressive. So now, I’m excited to see what could be a pretty damn cool Marvel movie.

Stay tuned for more from our visit to the INCREDIBLE HULK edit bay including full interviews with Leterrier, Hurd and Feige, as well as a full recap of all the coolness we saw!
