Annabelle 3 casts Mckenna Grace as Judy Warren

Screenwriter Gary Dauberman has been behind the scripts for some of our beloved genre's most recent hits starting with ANNABELLE and continuing on to ANNABELLE: CREATION, Stephen King's IT, and the most recent THE CONJURING spin-off, THE NUN. Soon Dauberman will be making his move to directing with the upcoming third entry in the ANNABELLE series, currently going by the simple title ANNABELLE 3.

Dauberman says: 

It really picks up with the Warrens bringing Annabelle to the place where it can really no longer wreak havoc, which is their artifact room. But, of course, it turns out she can also wreak havoc there. It’s basically Night At The Museum with Annabelle!

Officially the new movie will center on 

the Warrens bringing Annabelle back to their artifact room, where she targets their 10-year old daughter.

And today we have word on just who will be playing young Judy Warren as Deadline reports Netflix's THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE star Mckenna Grace will take on the role of the little Warren that could. The movie will also feature Judy’s two teenage babysitters, who haven't been cast at this time.

I'm not overly familiar with this little Grace girl, but that said, it seems she's been in every little kid movie for a while now, including Rob Lowe's recent Lifetime remake of THE BAD SEED. I haven't seen that film yet, so I can't comment on Grace's charm, but I do think I'll make time for it and give it a peek soon.

James Wan and Peter Safran are producing. Michael Clear is executive producer. Annabelle will start haunting and jump scaring Judy Warren and friends come July 3, 2019.
