Cannes sees new teaser posters for Zombies at Christmas, Bigfoot & more!

Well folks Cannes is now in full effect so it should come as no surprise to anyone that new goods are already starting to spill out of the annual festival. Now these new posters we have a look at today aren’t really anything worth writing home about but I figured I’d still tell you about them!

While at Cannes The Hollywood Reporter got a look at a trio of new one-sheets for some upcoming genre flicks: BENEATH THE DARKNESS, BIGFOOT and ZOMBIES AT CHRISTMAS. Actually BENEATH THE DARKNESS hit DVD back in February but we’ll still go ahead and run with it.

Coming from director Martin Guigui, BENEATH OF DARKNESS stars Dennis Quaid, Tony Oller, Brent Cullen and Aimee Teegarden. Here’s the rundown:

BENEATH THE DARKNESS follows Ely, the well-respected mortician of rustic Smithville Texas, where he was once a heralded high school football star. Among the kids, however, he is legendary for a more sinister reason — rumors that his house is haunted. The truth is, this pillar of the community is actually a flesh-and-blood monster who buries his victims alive; a sociopath who befriends adults and police while openly flaunting his murderous intentions to the youths. Beware Ely’s charming smile – it may be the last thing you see, looking up from your freshly dug grave…

Next up we’ve got BIGFOOT, the latest from The Asylum, which features 1970’s pop culture icons Danny Bonaduce and Barry Williams as they face off in the hunt for the legendary mountain creature.

Alice Cooper, Sherilyn Fenn (below), Andre Royo, Howard Hesseman, Bruce Davison, Barry Williams, Danny Bonaduce and Billy Idol are all starring in the Bruce Davison-directed film.

And lastly we’ve got something called ZOMBIES AT CHRISTMAS. Yeah. I’ve searched but all I can dig up on this one is the poster you see below. But come on… how bad can a movie called ZOMBIES AT CHRISTMAS be?!
