Darren Lynn Bousman to direct psychological horror film St. Agatha

Fresh off the release of his haunted house film ABATTOIR, director Darren Lynn Bousman is diving into production on his next feature film, a female-driven psychological horror tale titled ST. AGATHA. 

No details are being shared about the film's plot, only that the screenplay has been written by Andy Demetrio, Shaun Fletcher, Sara Sometti Michaels, and Clint Sears. According to Bousman, this group of writers

have constructed a literal convent of interesting and unique women put in dramatic, suspenseful, and even tragic positions."

So it sounds like the setting is a convent, but who the characters are and what happens to them in that convent remains a total mystery.

Produced by Srdjan Stakic and Sara Sometti Michaels, ST. AGATHA will be executive produced by Seth Michaels and Dragon Blood Productions.

Filming started this week in Atlanta, Georgia. The cast Bousman has assembled includes Hannah Fierman (pictured below), Trin Miller, Carolyn Hennesy, Courtney Halverson, Lindsay Seim, Seth Michaels, and Sabrina Kern (above).

Bousman's previous credits include SAW II, SAW III, SAW IV, and REPO! THE GENETIC OPERA.
