But this is the worst of it. Fox has just bought Salerno’s screenplay DOOMSDAY PROTOCOL, said to be an epic science fiction adventure in the vein of “The Seven Samurai” involving a group of aliens and humans with various abilities who are brought together to save Earth.
Salerno has also contributed to such masterpieces as ARMAGEDDON, SHAFT (remake), and GHOST RIDER. In Hollywood, no bad deed goes unrewarded.
