28 DAYS LATER: LIMITED EDITION – May 1st
In hopes to pump up the hype for the upcoming 28 WEEKS LATER, the latest Limited Edition of 28 WEEKS LATER has EVERYTHING the previous DVD edition has, plus a bunch of new stuff that has to do with the sequel. The one cool thing making this a worth-while buy (that is, unless you already have this in your collection) is the 28 DAYS LATER: THE AFTERMATH animated feature, which bridges the two movies together. There was a similar gap bridger with the CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK, entitled DARK FURY- which was flippin’ awesome. If you’re into the whole 28 DAYS mythology, snag this DVD with a quickness, if only for THE AFTERMATH.

BLOOD TRAILS – March 13th
Mountain biking and the slasher film. With a match made in heaven like this, it’s a wonder that this is the 1st mountain bike slasher film of it’s kind. The cover here kicks ass, yet the special features suck ass…. Definitely worth a rental, but with no other incentive, not quite a blind buy. Unless you’re a mountain biker, then it’d be a crying shame if you didn’t pick this up, as I have a feeling that while it’s the first of its kind… it’ll also be the last.

DIARY OF A CANNIBAL – April 24th
If your idea of a good time consists of creeping into the mind of a cannibal, then this flick is for you! Not only does it deal ‘outside the box’, as the cannibal in question is a chick, but it also puts a spin on a seemingly overdone genre (cannibalism), as when was the last time you really got to hear their side of the story? Maybe they’re just hungry, and like classic WB cartoons: they see people and the people turn into giant drumsticks, and without thinking, they begin to eat the drumsticks… only to later find out their actually people, and not giant drumsticks at all! See, now I bet you feel sorry for cannibals, don’t ya?

TIDELAND – February 27th
Any movie that’s described as ALICE IN WONDERLAND meets PSYCHO has to be a good time! Add to the fact that it’s from director Terry Gilliam, and you have ‘speem fest’ written all over this project. The flick features that creepy little girl from SILENT HILL, and a bunch of cracked out imagery that will have you questioning your stash for other illicit drugs. Best part? The fun begins in just over a week!

THE MONSTER SQUAD – TBA
The wait is finally over! After years and years of complaining, horror fans everywhere are finally getting their wish- THE MONSTER SQUAD is coming to DVD! Brought to us by those genre loving ninja’s over at Lionsgate, the word around the campfire is that it won’t be no bare-bones edition either, with special features to make even the biggest DVD whore stay hard for a week. No details have been released, nor is there an exact date yet, but these guys say that it’s coming this year, and I believe em’, yo! Wolfman’s got nards on DVD!
