Here's a bit of good news for you "Hannibal" fans! Eddie Izzard (above) recently confirmed that he will return in the upcoming second season of NBC's "Hannibal". "I will be back," Izzard recently told Digital Spy. "Everyone's given me great feedback on 'Hannibal,' and I've only done two episodes - I really let go in that one!" There has yet to be a definitive release date announcement so hopefully we'll get the word on that soon.
The last update we got on "Hannibal" was the casting news that Amanda Plummer (PULP FICTION) was the latest to join the cast of the show. Plummer will play Katherine Pimms, described as a hippie-chic acupuncturist who’s been causing trouble.
"Hannibal" Season Two begins airing early 2014 with 13 new episodes. The serial killer drama, based on the Thomas Harris character, stars Mads Mikkelsen, Hugh Dancy, Laurence Fishburne, Caroline Dhavernas, Lara Jean Chorostecki and Gillian Anderson.
