Nicolas Winding Refn is planning to bring us a lot of horror over the next several years, as he will be producing remakes of the giallo WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO SOLANGE?, the Vincent Price classic WITCHFINDER GENERAL, and the '80s slasher MANIAC COP, with that MANIAC COP remake intended to be the start of a trilogy. The DRIVE director's foray into the horror genre begins with THE NEON DEMON, which is set to be released this Friday. Our own Jake Dee has already seen the movie and gave it a 7/10 review.

Inspired by the story of Countess Bathory, THE NEON DEMON is about

an aspiring model named Jesse who moves to Los Angeles, where her youth and vitality are devoured by a group of beauty-obsessed women who will take any means necessary to get what she has.

Elle Fanning, Keanu Reeves, Christina Hendricks, and Jena Malone star.

To give you a little taste of THE NEON DEMON before it reaches theatres, today we have an EXCLUSIVE CLIP from the film that shows some young women turning against each other in a location so colorfully lit that it brings to mind SUSPIRIA.

The clip is quite short, but it has me intrigued to see what happens before and after this moment.
