Explore the mysteries of Sleepy Hollow with two new TV spots

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Fox's "Sleepy Hollow" series will grace the small screen on September 16th at 9 – 10pm ET/PT and we now have two more TV spots that give us a little taste of what to expect from the series. I don't know about you guys but I think this show looks really odd, and I mean that in a good way. It's certainly an interesting direction they decided to take the series by having Ichabod Crane resurrected into modern times. Can you imagine waking up after a two and half century nap just to find out you have to fight this headless asshole  — what a way to start your morning!

In this modern-day twist on Washington Irving’s classic, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison; Salmon Fishing in the Yemen) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and he is humanity’s last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie; 42, Shame) to unravel a mystery that dates back to the founding fathers.

"Sleepy Hollow" is from K/O Paper Products in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series is co-created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove, and Len Wiseman. The series is executive-produced by Kurtzman, Orci, Wiseman, and Heather Kadin. Len Wiseman helmed the pilot.
