Go behind the scenes of Fox’s Sleepy Hollow with director Len Wiseman in this featurette

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

We just a little under a month away from Fox's upcoming "Sleepy Hollow" and we've already seen a lot of cool stuff promoting the new series come out way, including TV spots, posters and featurettes that gave us a glimpse of what we can expect from the reimagining of the classic Washington Irving story. Today we have a cool new featurette that puts the focus on the man helming the pilot episode: UNDERWORLD director Len Wiseman (also known as 'that lucky bastard that is married to Kate Beckinsale').

In this new featurette we learn that Wiseman treats every hour of television as if it's a movie and seemingly enjoys creating a world all to itself.

In this modern-day twist on Washington Irving’s classic, Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison; Salmon Fishing in the Yemen) is resurrected and pulled two and a half centuries through time to find that the world is on the brink of destruction and he is humanity’s last hope, forcing him to team up with a contemporary police officer (Nicole Beharie; 42, Shame) to unravel a mystery that dates back to the founding fathers.

"Sleepy Hollow" is from K/O Paper Products in association with 20th Century Fox Television. The series is co-created by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci, Phillip Iscove, and Len Wiseman. The series is executive-produced by Kurtzman, Orci, Wiseman, and Heather Kadin. Len Wiseman helmed the pilot.

"Sleep Hollow" airs on September 16 on Fox.
