Is Boondock Saints actor Norman Reedus among The Walking Dead?

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Earlier today we got a scoop from a reader informing us that they’ve seen actor Norman Reedus (THE BOONDOCK SAINTS) hanging out on the set of AMC’s “The Walking Dead”, naturally leading them to speculate that Reedus has joined the show.

After digging around, I found out the following: Reedus’ Twitter page – which is blocked – has evidently been peppered with news that he has indeed been added to the cast. The role is unknown, as is the number of episodes he’s filming. So while we can’t confirm it 100%, let’s call it a very strong possibility right now. (Naturally, we’ll let you know when it’s set in stone.)

An epidemic of apocalyptic proportions has swept the globe, causing the dead to rise and feed on the living. In a matter of months, society has crumbled: There is no government, no grocery stores, no mail delivery, no cable TV. Rick Grimes finds himself one of the few survivors in this terrifying future. A couple months ago he was a small town cop who had never fired a shot and only ever saw one dead body. Separated from his family, he must now sort through all the death and confusion to try and find his wife and son. In a world ruled by the dead, we are forced to finally begin living.

“The Walking Dead” stars Andrew Lincoln, Jon Bernthal, Michael Rooker, Emma Bell, Jeffrey DeMunn, Linds Edwards, Addy Miller, Sarah Wayne Callies, Steven Yeun, Chandler Riggs and Jim R. Coleman… And maybe Norman Reedus. It will air on AMC this October.
