Lifetime moving forward with a witch-themed series based on the novel Witches of East End

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

Alright… bear with me for a second. I’m here today to tell you all about a new witch-themed project heading our way based on Melissa de la Cruz’s novel WITCHES OF EAST END. The only problem with that is the fact that the chick-themed television station Lifetime are the ones bringing this project to life.

According to Variety Fox 21 will be producing a “Witches of East End” TV series for Lifetime. Maggie Friedman wrote the pilot for the series, based on de la Cruz’s novel, and will be executive producing alongside Erwin Stoff.

“Witches of East End” centers on a mother and her two daughters who are the family’s next generation of witches.

I know, I know. Lifetime?! But it’s been a while since we’ve seen a solid witch-themed project so I figured this would be worth telling you all about. I mean… chicks are horror fans too, right?! We’ll keep our eyes open for more on WITCHES OF EAST END and if what we see tickles our fancy we’ll be here to tell you about it.
