Mariana Klaveno wants to play Lily Munster in “Mockingbird Lane” but…

Last Updated on July 23, 2021

Just a couple days ago we learned that Jerry O’Connell would be playing ‘Herman Munster’ in NBC’s “Mockingbird Lane.” Alright… wouldn’t be my first choice but I suppose I could picture it.

But the question now arises: Who is going to play ‘Lily Munster?’ She’s one of the final pieces of the puzzle and according to Deadline Hollywood actress Mariana Klaveno would love nothing more than to move into 1313 Mockingbird Lane. The problem is that all depends on whether or not she’s released from her current contract to star in ABC’s “Devious Maids.”

Apparently Klaveno only had a few lines in the pilot for “Devious Maids” but with plans to possibly move the show to Lifetime, the show’s producer ABC Studios has thus far refused to release the actress from her contract. Apparently NBC has even gone as far as to allow Klaveno to recur on “Devious Maids” in exchange for securing her in first position to “Mockingbird Lane.”

The madness begins when a baby bear attacks a scouting trip, only it turns out that this “bear” is actually Eddie transformed into a werewolf. Eddie is unaware of his metamorphosis and it forces the family to move in order to protect the family secret. The coming of age story gets weirder as he fights against his family when he learns of a shocker: they’re a family of flesh-eaters!

So there you have it folks! NBC and “Mockingbird Lane” have found their ‘Lily.’ Here’s hoping she’s actually able to sign on! If she does, Klaveno will be joining O’Connell, Eddie Izzard, Charity Wakefield and Mason Cooke in the series, which has a pilot heading our way from director Bryan Singer.

I’m sure more “Mockingbird Lane” news will be spilling our way soon so be sure to check back for any other updates that come our way.
