Ghost hunters are all the rage in horror films these days. From GRAVE ENCOUNTERS to GREYSTONE PARK to next year's THE CONJURING, we can't seem to get enough of those quirky folks in search of the paranormal. Here are a few more!
A press release informs us of a film called SIGHTING, which comes from director Tedi Sarafian, who co-wrote TERMINATOR 3: RISE OF THE MACHINES. The flick, which stars Kristina Anapau (pictured above; Black Swan), Brendan Fletcher (Freddy vs. Jason), Alexis Cruz (Drag Me to Hell) and Ed Corbin (True Grit), is about a ghost-hunting team that investigates King's Ransom Winery in California, home to a sinister history of recurring suicides.
SAW VI and SAW: THE FINAL CHAPTER editor Andrew Coutts cut the picture, which is currently in audio post production and seeking distribution.














Anyway, I watch neither TV ghost hunters nor much reality TV nor found-footage flicks of which Sighting is likely an example. However, Sighting might not be a found-footy. And, imdb has no reviews for the film yet. Therefore, let us be optimistic and see what we sight. Every genre and plot gets at least one project that is its best and iconic example.
