Netflix’s Bright starring Will Smith & Joel Edgerton gets a BTS featurette

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

I'm still not sure what to make of Netflix's upcoming original film BRIGHT from director David Ayer and starring Will Smith and Joel Edgerton. The film looks cool enough, and hell, the whole mess will be (mostly) free anyhow once it hits Netflix so why not check it out, right?

I'm thinking this is the way the flick is going to go with me, so with that in mind let's take a deeper look into the production with this all-new behind-the-scenes featurette.

Check out the featurette below, then let us know what you think in the comments or on social media!

BRIGHT synopsis:

A buddy cop movie set in an alternate present-day where humans, orcs, elves and fairies have been coexisting since the beginning of time.  Ward, a human, and Jakoby, an orc, embark on a routine night patrol that will alter the future of their world as they know it.  Battling both their own personal differences as well as an onslaught of enemies, they must work together to protect a young female elf and a thought-to-be-forgotten relic, which in the wrong hands could destroy everything.

BRIGHT is directed by David Ayer from a script by Max Landis. The film stars Will Smith, Joel Edgerton, Noomi Rapace, Lucy Fry, Edgar Ramirez, Ike Barinholtz, Enrique Murciano, Jay Hernandez, Andrea Navedo, Veronica Ngo, Alex Meraz, Margaret Cho, Brad William Henke, Dawn Olivieri, and Kenneth Choi.

BRIGHT hits Netflix exclusively December 22, 2017.
