I am really stoked for Alexandre Aja's adaptation of Joe Hill's HORNS. Hill's novel is one of the rare books that I've read more than once, and I will certainly revisit it once again just before the film's October 31 release. It's just that damn good. Over the past couple of months we've been seeing a lot more from the film, including trailers, posters, and stills, and today we have a handful of new images to share with ya. I'm hoping that Aja knocks this adaptation out of the park and I'm excited to see what star Daniel Radcliffe brings to the table with his portrayal of Ig Perrish.

Based on the novel by Joe Hill, Horns is a supernatural thriller driven by fantasy, mystery and romance. The film follows Ig Perrish (Daniel Radcliffe, "Harry Potter" films), the number one suspect for the violent rape and murder of his girlfriend, Merrin (Juno Temple). Hungover from a night of hard drinking, Ig awakens one morning to find horns starting to grow from his own head and soon realizes their power drives people to confess their sins and give in to their most selfish and unspeakable impulses – an effective tool in his quest to discover the true circumstances of his late girlfriend's tragedy and for exacting revenge on her killer.

HORNS stars Daniel Radcliffe, Juno Temple, Max Minghella, Joe Anderson, James Remar, Heather Graham and David Morse. The film opens in theaters in France on October 1st and on October 31st in the U.S.

Now if we could only get an adaptation of Hill's HEART SHAPED BOX. Hopefully HORNS will be enough of a success to get that project going.

Extra Tidbit: Are you a fan of Hill's novel? Are you looking forward to this film as much as I am?

book was ok

The trailer for this movie made me run out and read the book. Just finished it yesterday and have to say the first 50 pages are by far the best part of the book, but it kinda meanders and the ending is pretty weak. I hope they have corrected the problems with the book for the movie.
