NSFW trailer for The Greasy Strangler features excessive greasiness

In 8mm, Joaquin Phoenix warned that "There's things you'll see that you can't unsee. They get in your head and they stay there." It's a warning that it seems would be quite fitting to be placed at the head of director Jim Hosking's film THE GREASY STRANGLER. Word of mouth after the movie's Sundance premiere indicated that it was exceptionally gross, and the marketing is going far toward proving its reputation to be accurate.

A trailer for THE GREASY STRANGLER can be seen below, and it is not only Not Safe For Work, it also states that the preview is "Not safe for any ages." Watch at your own risk.

Co-produced by Elijah Wood through his company SpectreVision, THE GREASY STRANGLER was written by Hosking and Toby Harvard. The synopsis:

Ronnie runs a Disco walking tour with his son, Brayden. When a sexy woman takes the tour, it begins a competition between father and son for her love. It also signals the arrival of an oily strangler who stalks the streets at night.

Michael St. Michaels, Sky Elobar, and Elizabeth De Razzo star.

If the trailer appeals rather than repels, you can start looking forward to seeing THE GREASY STRANGLER in theatres on October 7th.
