Paz de la Huerta, star of 2014's NURSE 3D, is now at the center of one of the more distressing celebrity lawsuits swirling around Hollywood these days. And that's saying something.

The 30-year-old actress is currently suing the makers of NURSE 3D for $55 million, claiming that starring in the film (which only made around $5,000 in domestic box office) ruined her caeer. According to de la Huerta, during a scene involving a speeding ambulance, she suffered a spinal fracture when it accidentally struck her. She also wishes for her role (which was redubbed by a different actress) to be dubbed again with her own voice.

The second half of the lawsuit seems far more frivolous than the first, and only time will tell how this suit is received. But nobody deserves to be injured on set, so those looking for jokes about the poorly received film should look elsewhere for their daily dose of humor. Our best wishes go out to de la Huerta and we hope that these issues are cleared up as soon as possible for all involved.

Extra Tidbit: Did you see Nurse 3D in theaters? Did you contribute to that $5,000?

EXTRA TIDBIT: NO

opens the floodgates for actors to sue directors of shitty movies....
and while I dont think starring in this movie would ruin her career, that spinal injury just might. and I think she might just have a case too....
as for the re-dubbing, that is all up to the director. its his call, his movie, he can do what he likes with her voice, my god has anybody heard the early Jackie Chan flicks where they got a BRITISH actor to dub his voice?? it's just so weird.....
