Fox knows what you X-Files fans want and they're not afraid to be shameless about it. This preview for the next episode of the revived sci-fi series contains some very cool moments in a scant 30 seconds, but the best is easily Scully telling Mulder: "We've been given another case, Mulder. It has a monster in it." Yes!!!
So far the new season of The X-Files has been doing solid business for Fox, which is a good sign for those of us eager to see it continue on the course its on. (The second episode was much better than the first, am I right?) If you missed them, peep our reviews of the first two episodes HERE.
Episode 3 was written and directed by X-Files vet Darin Morgan, who penned such classic - and quirky - episodes as "Clyde Bruckman's Final Repose" and "Jose Chung's From Outer Space." Here's the synopsis:
Mulder and Scully investigate a dead body in the woods, and try to determine whether it was the work of a serial killer, an animal or a mysterious creature seen by eyewitnesses. Meanwhile, a disillusioned Mulder confronts some of his own demons.
The X-Files airs on Fox Monday nights.
