Welcome back Rosie!
Two days after Dean Norris was cast in Ridley Scott’s THE COUNSELOR, Rosie Perez (shown) has now come aboard. Details on her specific part weren’t provided, but we know she’s set to join the impressive ensemble including Michael Fassbender, Brad Pitt, Cameron Diaz, Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz.
The flick centers on a lawyer (Michael Fassbender) who attempts to make some easy money in the drug business. Things quickly go awry, with devastating consequences for the counselor and his associates. I must say it’s good to see Perez back in an A-list feature, she’s been absent for too long.
It just so happens THE COUNSELOR, from writer Cormac McCarthy, is easily one of my most anticipated 2013 flicks. Quite a coup for Rosie!
