Writer/director M. Night Shyamalan is gearing up to go into production on his UNBREAKABLE / SPLIT crossover GLASS, which will star Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson as their UNBREAKABLE characters David Dunn and Elijah "Mr. Glass" Price and James McAvoy and Anya Taylor-Joy as their SPLIT characters Kevin (with all of his many personalities) and Casey. But around these returning actors Shyamalan needs to build a new supporting cast, and he has taken to his Twitter account to announce a major new addition.

Joining the cast of GLASS is actress Sarah Paulson, who is known to genre fans for her roles on the anthology series American Horror Story and just recently won a Golden Globe for her performance as Marcia Clark on American Crime Story.

The details of the GLASS story are being kept under wraps, but one could probably safely assume that it's going to involve the heroic characters played by Willis and Taylor-Joy facing off with the villains played by Jackson and McAvoy.

A reunion of Shyamalan and his SPLIT collaborators Universal Pictures and Blumhouse Productions, GLASS is aiming for a January 18, 2019 release.
