Terror Train remade. Again.

Last Updated on July 27, 2021

STYD got the scoop that producer Phillip Goldfine (LOST BOYS: THE TRIBE) is prepping a remake of the 1980 Roger Spottiswoode slasher TERROR TRAIN. Right now you’re probably thinking, “Wait a goddamn minute, asshole. I thought there was a TERROR TRAIN remake already. Why is this happening?!”

Well, first off. Relax man. Just chill out. Jeez… What you’re thinking of is TRAIN, from director Gideon Raff, starring Thora Birch (pictured below). If you take a look at the trailer for the film, you’ll see that indeed it bears very little resemblance to the Jamie Lee Curtis flick –
check it out HERE.. (It basically looks like HOSTEL on a train.)

The new version Goldfine is planning would apparently be more in line with the original movie, in which some kids are subjected to a masked killer and David Copperfield aboard a train during New Year’s Eve.

Goldfine is looking at releasing the film – which has no writer or director attached – sometime next year. Cool news, eh??
