Trailer: The bad guys team up in Unbreakable / Split sequel Glass

For eighteen years, I've been interested in seeing what became of Bruce Willis's character David Dunn after the events of writer/director M. Night Shyamalan's UNBREAKABLE. Now we're finally going to see Dunn in action again in the upcoming film GLASS – and the fact that it happens to be a crossover with characters from Shyamalan's SPLIT makes the project even more exciting.

About three months after the previous trailer for GLASS dropped online, a second trailer has now been released and can be seen below. While the first trailer was mostly about the set-up, this one digs deeper into the story and shows more glimpses of the action.

Returning from UNBREAKABLE with Bruce Willis are Samuel L. Jackson as the villainous Elijah Price, a.k.a. Mr. Glass, Spencer Treat Clark as Dunn's son, and Charlayne Woodard as Price's mother. Back from SPLIT are Jame McAvoy as Kevin Wendell Crumb (and the man's many different personalities) and Anya Taylor-Joy as Casey Cooke, who survived being taken captive by Crumb.

The story finds 

Dunn pursuing Crumb’s superhuman figure of The Beast in a series of escalating encounters, while the shadowy presence of Price emerges as an orchestrator who holds secrets critical to both men.

One cast member who wasn't in UNBREAKABLE or SPLIT is Sarah Paulson.

Shyamalan produced GLASS with Jason Blum of Blumhouse Productions, Ashwin Rajan, and Marc Bienstock. Steven Schneider, Gary Barber, Roger Birnbaum, and Kevin Frakes served as executive producers.

GLASS is scheduled to reach theatres on January 18, 2019.
