Two clips from Big Bad Wolves feature torture and a scream test

Last Updated on August 5, 2021

The film that Quentin Tarantino called The Best Film of 2013, BIG BAD WOLVES, is currently out in limited theatrical release and On Demand; foolishly, I’ve still yet to see it, but I’m going to correct that error pronto. If you need convincing that it’s worth your time, maybe these two clips from the film will sell you.

In the first, a man checks out to see how well a scream travels in the cabin he’s looking to rent. And in the second, well… I guess he was satisfied with the results, because there’s some torturin’ and screamin’ going on!

The synopsis:

A series of brutal murders puts the lives of three men on a collision course: The father of the latest victim now out for revenge, a vigilante police detective operating outside the boundaries of law, and the main suspect in the killings – a religious studies teacher arrested and released due to a police blunder.
