If the promotional images and TV spots we've seen so far for WGN America's first scripted series "Salem" are any indication of how creepy cool the show will be then I expect we'll be in for a fun ride. "Salem" is set to cast its spell over viewers next month on April 20 and as the witching hour creeps up on us we've got 2 new promotional posters for the upcoming witch-themed series to share with ya below.

Deadline revealed these two new pieces of key art that are sure to leave you hanging…for more!

"Salem" is set in the volatile world of 17th century Massachusetts and explores what really fueled the town's infamous witch trials. The series will look to uncover the dark, supernatural truth hiding behind the veil of this infamous period in American history. The witches featured are real, but they are not who or what they seem. What’s more, the drama, which centers on an epic romance wrapped around this explosive revelation, delivers a bold new vision of Salem — and an even bolder new vision of witches.

“Salem” stars Janet Montgomery (“Human Target,” “Made in Jersey”) as the ruthless but vulnerable Mary Sibley, Salem’s most powerful enchantress – and Alden’s onetime love interest; Shane West (“Nikita,” “ER”) as handsome, hardened war veteran John Alden; Seth Gabel (“Fringe”) as local aristocrat Cotton Mather who fans the flames of Salem’s witch hunt; Ashley Madekwe (“Revenge”) as Mary’s mysterious, carnal accomplice; Xander Berkeley (“Nikita,” “The Mentalist”) as chief politician Magistrate Hale; Tamzin Merchant (“Jane Eyre”) as the forthright Anne Hale, an artist with a perilous attraction to Alden; and Elise Eberle (“The Astronaut Farmer”) as the mysteriously afflicted Mercy Lewis.
