Want to see what Vin Diesel will look like as Riddick in the third film?

Over the past few months we have shown you all a lot of concept art from THE CHRONICLES OF RIDDICK: DEAD MAN STALKING. Now we don’t have any concept art today but instead a picture from the set!

Yes that means the film is underway and currently in production! This isn’t just any picture we have; it is of Vin Diesel in his full Riddick costume! He is looking like one badass mofo! This series is a bit of a passion project for Diesel and this next instalment seems like it is headed in the right direction. Unfortunately we probably wont get to see the finished product till some time in 2013 but hopefully it will be worth the wait.

Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Vin Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.

The film will be directed by David Twohy, aside from Diesel the other confirmed cast member is Karl Urban. Katee Sackhoff is also set to join as the female lead (below), with Jordi Molla in talks to play the villain.
