An exclusive clip from Jean-Pierre Jeunet's Micmacs!
Our Chris Bumbray reviewed MICMACS out of Toronto last year and called Jeunet's latest a "wonderful comedic adventure" and scored the film an impressive 9/10. Almost eight months later the film is finally expanding out into theaters across the US and hopefully it's a theater near you.
The film stars Dany Boon as a guy who hasn't had much luck with weapons. As a child a mine explosion left him an orphan. Later a bullet lodged in his brain and left him on the brink of death. When he finally finds the weapons manufacturer responsible for his misfortune, he recruits a rather unique group of friends to help him find his revenge.
While that could be played with a darker tone, this is Jeunet and the film is a light comic adventure that's probably best described as something like the OCEAN'S 11 films. Check out the exclusive clip from the film below!
|Extra Tidbit:||"Micmacs" doesn't directly translate to English but is French slang for something like a sticky situation/trouble.|
