Check out some new images from Rian Johnson’s upcoming sci-fi film Looper

Just when you think Rian Johnson’s much-anticipated sci-fi actioner LOOPER is almost here, you realize that it’s still about two very long months away. Dammit!

To tide us over though, some new images have made their way online courtesy of UK site HeyUGuys which feature star Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Paul Dano rolling around all cool-like in what I think is an old Mazda Miata, Piper Perabo reminding us men what it is to have a raging boner, and more.

LOOPER opens September 21st.

Synopsis: In the futuristic action thriller LOOPER, time travel will be invented – but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a “looper” – a hired gun, like Joe (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) – is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good… until the day the mob decides to “close the loop,” sending back Joe’s future self (Bruce Willis) for assassination.
