If you're looking for one of the more unique films of 2016, I think your quest is going to end here. SWISS ARMY MAN tells the story of Hank (Paul Dano), a man stranded on an island who is about to commit suicide when he notices a body (Daniel Radcliffe) that has washed up on the shore. He pulls a "Wilson" and befriends this body, only to find out that this body can do almost anything he needs it to in order to survive. Does that include a raging boner compass? Yes. Yes it does.

I'm not sure what it is about the premise, the actors, and the hyper-kinetic visual style of this thing, but it all works for me. I really hope they don't even attempt to explain how this corpse is capable of doing all this (or if the lead character did all of it on his own), but either way, SWISS ARMY MAN looks to be one of the sleeper hits of the summer. The real question is…did Radcliffe use a stunt wang?

SWISS ARMY MAN his theaters on July 1, 2016.
