Elton John joining his fellow Brits in Kingsman: The Golden Circle

Why not add Elton John to the KINGSMAN sequel if you have the chance? Well, Matthew Vaughn is going to do just that, with the 1994 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee in talks to be part of KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE. 

Details on how Elton John would factor into Taron Egerton's next mission as Eggsy remain quiet, but one would have to imagine he'd simply be playing Elton John, because… I mean, it's rather hard to see Elton John playing anyone else at this stage of his career. The legendary singer/songwriter has played himself in a number of pictures before, be it THE COUNTRY BEARS or SPICE WORLD. In fact, you'd have to go back to 1975 when he took on the role of the Pinball Wizard in The Who's TOMMY to find the last time he played a different character other than Elton John. 

KINGSMAN: THE GOLDEN CIRCLE is close to heading into production as Vaughn aims to meet that June 16, 2017 release date.
