Although it hasn't been officially announced, there's a very good chance that the first CAPTAIN AMERICA: CIVIL WAR trailer will be attached to STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS, and during a conversation with Collider, co-writer and producer Simon Kinberg revealed that the first look at X-MEN: APOCALYPSE will be released with the film when it hits theaters next month.

I can in fact confirm that information. Our first trailer will be on Star Wars: The Force Awakens. It’s our first thing out there so it is somewhat of a teaser but it’s certainly longer than a minute and it has a ton of cool stuff in it.

Like we really needed another reason to go see STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS! If the CIVIL WAR trailer rumors are true, we could be getting debut trailers for two of next year's most anticipated movies with this year's most anticipated film, which could lead to a severe case of nerd overload for some moviegoers.

Both trailers will more than likely premiere online shortly before or after the release of THE FORCE AWAKENS though, so if you don't feel like dealing with opening weekend crowds, you should still be able to check them out once they drop.

STAR WARS: THE FORCE AWAKENS will be in theaters on December 18th, while X-MEN: APOCALYPSE is due out on May 27, 2016.
