Charlize in HANCOCK

I have to come out of the closet and say HANCOCK is one of my guilty pleasures; what can I say, it's just fun. AND Charlize Theron is even hotter when she's mad. For those who didn't like it, here's something that might raise interest in the unavoidable sequel.

Alongside returning director Peter Berg, Columbia has tapped scribes Adam Fierro and Glen Mazzara to provide further Super Will Smith antics. Those name might not mean much, but their previous credits do; Fierro has been involved with 24, Dexter and The Shield alongside Mazzarra who himself exec-produced for the criminally-canceled Life and Standoff. No offense for whomever penned the first, but I'm pretty sure those 2 guys know what they're doing. Here's to hoping they'll exert some influence to have Michael C. Hall and Damian Lewis as villains for the film.

Details on the movie are being kept under wraps, but 3 things can be assumed from the get-go: It'll probably be released around July 4th weekend, Will Smith is about to get even stinking-richer, and Charlize Theron is gloriously gorgeous. I DARE anyone to disagree on that last one.

Extra Tidbit: Come on, that "Good Job" scene was funny!

Hancock 2 a GO!

I don't know why all the hate in this movie too...I thought it was awesome. I just think people were expecting more humor.

Money Money Money

As if the first one wasn't bad enough, we need another Hancock? Movie was garbage, I'm sorry. Even if you have writers from previously wonderful COMPELLING (yes Hancock I couldn't take seriously) shows, it doesn't matter. Peter Berg is still helming this trash heap. It's whatever. They all do it for the money. Smith has failed in his last three films, none of which were any good. I'm talking about I am Legend, Hanshit, and Seven Pounds, or as i call it Seven dollars out of my pocket gone. Will

Yay!

I enjoyed the first even though it sputtered out near the end. It's a good idea for a movie, though, and I'm glad to see a sequel on the way, as long as they learn from their mistakes.

Bloody Terrible Idea

I hated the first. Such an interesting and unique and then it squanders it on somebad special effects and terrible action chorepgraphy! I am not looking forward to this at all, plus I haven't seen any of the shows that these guys have done, so I don't care.

Nice pic

That pic of her looks like she's inviting me to rest my head there... How generous of her.

I have to admit, I liked Hancock. I thought it was enjoyable, despite some obvious flaws. If they had delved more into the "HERO WHO DOSENT WANT TO BE A HERO" idea, I think it would have been a better film. I'm actually looking forward to the sequel.
