Keanu Reeves John Wick: Chapter Two

When the awesome force of JOHN WICK was unleashed upon us several years ago, it went on to become a rather surprising hit with audiences and left us hungry for more of Keanu Reeves giving roomfuls of bad guys a well deserved head-shot. The upcoming JOHN WICK: CHAPTER TWO will see Wick forced back out of retirement (aren't they always?) by a former associate plotting to seize control of a shadowy international assassins’ guild. Bound by a blood oath to help him, John travels to Rome where he squares off against some of the world’s deadliest killers. It's going to be awfully hard to top the original, but if this first teaser for JOHN WICK: CHAPTER TWO is any indication, they may just be able to pull it off and then some.

"John Wick, you're not very good at retiring."

Well that was all sorts of badass wasn't it? I'm ashamed to say that I initially wrote off our first look at JOHN WICK as a typical, albeit stylish, action vehicle with some star power thrown in. Once I finally sat my ass down to watch the film, I instantly felt awful about ever doubting Reeves. I won't make that mistake again. The first film gave us some fun characters who occupied an interesting world and a decent amount of brain matter splattered against the walls, JOHN WICK: CHAPTER TWO, in true sequel fashion, looks to be giving us all that and more. In addition to Keanu Reeves, the sequel will bring back Ian McShane, John Leguizamo, Lance Reddick, Bridget Moynahan, Thomas Sadoski and they'll be joined by Laurence Fishburne, Ruby Rose, Peter Stormare and Common.

JOHN WICK: CHAPTER TWO is set for a February 10, 2017 release.
