First of all, thanks to ruggedly handsome schmoe Dean for sending us this great link to a niche subset of cinematic graphic design.
The documentary HELVETICA took an in-depth look at the influence of typography on the cinematic landscape. It’s apparently a cool flick and taking a cue from it, the folks at “Always Watching” now introduce us to Kinematic Typography, in which select scenes from films are presented solely with sound and dynamic typography. The end result is pretty damn cool. Like really damn cool.
