Early buzz on Clint's out-of-nowhere look at race relations in the united states, GRAN TORINO, is pretty sweet. Talk of Oscar noms have officially begun but that's standard these days for Clint. I bet he could take a dump on a 4 year old boy with blonde hair, stick it in a jar of grape jelly and it would still be nominated for best picture. i agree with puff. he is a fantastic actor/director, but we get that he is high quality standard, no need to hype it

Im kinda tired of hearing about how great Clint Eastwood is (not from this site, in general), and how much awards he gets. His movies are quality movies no doubt, but I feel like he gets the hype of the best filmaker there is, which isn't true IMO.

Clint didn't make "Gone Baby Gone." Ben Affleck did. Clint DID make "Mystic River" though.
