Production begins on The Amazing Spider-Man 2; Marc Webb teases Oscorp
Yesterday, director Marc Webb was doing some mysterious twittering. He posted a photo with this "Day 1. #anamorphic #film #philthecameraoperator". Hints here? The first AMAZING SPIDER-MAN installment was filmed on RED Epic, so is Webb making a return to the standard technique or yore?
Here's the first production photo with Phil the camera operator:
Then today all was revealed. Webb tweeted another photo, but with something from Oscorp. All that accompanied the image was this: "Day 2. #oscorp."
Aside from Mary Jane (Shailene Woodley), Electro (Jamie Foxx), and Rhino (Paul Giamatti) serving as new characters, we also have the entitled friend of Peter Parker, Harry Osborn played by Dane Dehaan. Obviously since we've already seen Oscorp, does this mean that we will get a surprise with Norman being introduced? Oscorp is after all his baby. Norman was not shown in the first installment, but was a huge part since he was the center of Dr. Connors' work in trying to find a cure for Osborn's unknown terminal illness. So maybe he will get more than just a reference this time.
Analyze away.

Fuck this series...
Yay, more emo loser parker and another round of C list villains...
good
I'm excited for this but I would still rather have Spider Man 4 and 5 with Maguire and Raimi back.

Anyway, I wonder what direction they will take Peter Parker in this movie. The "giving up the suprerhero life" is popular for first sequels, like Superman 2, Dark Knight, & Incredible Hulk (although not really a sequel). But it would seem too similar to Spider-man 2.
