Rataouille trailer

With the avalanche of sequels and franchises that will blanket multiplexes this summer, everyone is expecting big numbers at the box office. There’s one major release that I think most of us are forgetting about, that’s gotten smothered underneath the pile of spiders and pirates and potters, and it’s called RATATOUILLE. This is of course Pixar’s annual summer release, and you show me a Pixar release that hasn’t killed at the box office and I’ll show you where the treasure is buried. For some odd reason, this film isn’t receiving the huge marketing push of previous Pixar films, but judging from the new trailer, they haven’t missed a step. It’s directed by Brad Bird, who won an Oscar for THE INCREDIBLES, and if you can show me an Oscar winner who’s made a bad film since their win, I’ll give you my credit card number. That was a joke. The film opens on June 29th and you can see the trailer HERE.

I really adore Pixar films, and The Incredibles is my personal favorite, so I'll defnitely give this a chance!

That looks really good. I mean, Brad Bird can do animation awesome. I loved Giant and Icredibles when I first saw it. For some reason, Bird can make his characters human or full of humanity. Also, this is the most crowded summer I have seen, It would be a shame if audiences miss this one, but it's Pixar and Kids love their Pixar. :)

TOO TRUE

I have felt the same way myself....Don't get me wrong. I'm looking forward to Spidey, PIrates, Transformers, and all the other huge big budget action ninja yo face sheeeeaat. But, If I had to pick any movie this summer. It'd be Ratatouille. I'm a huuuuuuuuge Disney/Pixar fan and this movie is lookin pretty gnarly. The quality these guy's put into there movies and at the same time concentrating on story development so much is awesome. I will be the first in line to see Ratatouille and would

I hope it slams in the box office and leaves some of these action movies wondering wtf just happened.

lol

Looks hilarious and much better and smarter than Cars. I like it when Pixar makes humor that both kids and adults can enjoy (they didnt do it with Cars) and this looks to continue Brad Bird's success, I'm psyched.

Brad Bird seems a little smug, but his films are remarkable. Pixar certainly killed a little of thier vibe with CARS. Visually it was great, but 2hrs of talking cars just brings up too many questions that shouldnt be thought of while viewing a childrens film.

I was sort of "meh" about this one, but now that I've seen this new trailer, I'm really digging the vibe of this film. I'm pretty confident that Pixar's done it again.
