Some first looks from the set of Martin Scorsese's Hugo Cabret

I'm very curious about how Martin Scorsese's HUGO CABRET is going to pan out. I'm a fan of everything Scorsese decides to do and I was pretty excited when he chose to do a film geared more toward the youngsters.

Of course, Scorsese has rounded up a terrific cast that includes Chloe Moretz, Jude Law, Richard Griffiths, Emily Mortimer, Ray Winstone, Sacha Baron Cohen, Christopher Lee, Ben Kingsley and Asa Butterfield. The film is based on the book written by Brian Selznick, which centers on, "Set in 1930s Paris, an orphan who lives in the walls of a train station is wrapped up in a mystery involving his late father and an automaton."

These are some set pics from the film of Cohen, Kingsley, Scorsese and Butterfield. The official Facebook page for the film has some more cool pictures as well as video. Go and check out the rad white 'stache Kingsley sports.

Extra Tidbit: Martin Scorsese's first film in nine years (not counting documentaries, concert movies or television work) not starring Leonardo DiCaprio.
