The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat: The Cabin in the Woods

We are kicking off the Halloween season early with this week’s movie! I know that there are a lot of horror fans here and the discussions about horror movies always turn up great. So what better way to kick off the Halloween season than with one of the best horror movies of the year. This week we chat about The Cabin in the Woods!

Since last October, yours truly has been hosting The JoBlo Sunday Night Movie Chat every Sunday night at 7pm EST. We’ve chatted about many awesome flicks such as The Evil Dead trilogy, The Shining, Dawn of the Dead and Tucker and Dale Vs Evil. It’s a great opportunity to discuss the flicks we all love with your fellow schmoes live. Opinions will be shared. Thoughts will be provoked. Fun will be had by all.

All you need to do is head to OUR CHATROOM at 7pm EST and make sure to log in with your MFC username. Come prepared with talking points or questions, or feel free to just hang out and and see what everyone else is discussing. The regulars are extremely friendly people that will definitely make you feel welcome. And believe me, they are very, very cool schmoes.

And please remember this. Be respectful of others and their opinions during the chat. It’s great to have multiple opinions of movies in the chat. I love that. What I don’t love is for people to be insulted or badmouthed about their opinions. Directly insulting someone will not be put up with.

The Cabin in the Woods is still my favorite movie of the year. Whedon and Goddard promised a fresh new take on the horror genre and if you ask me, they delivered! Not many movies are as smart as they are fun. This movie definitely is. They really knocked it out of the park with this one. So if you are like me and love this movie, then join us this Sunday at 7 pm EST.
