Tudyk fights Evil

While he’s surely developed a fanbase (particularly those fond of coats that are brown) from his droll pilot Wash in Joss Whedon’s “Firefly” and SERENITY, Alany Tudyk has been great in plenty of other secondary roles in movies like A KNIGHT’S TALE, 3:10 TO YUMA and DODGEBALL (yarr).

Now he’s stepping up to the front to literally take on badness in TUCKER AND DALE VS. EVIL, an indie horror-comedy already shooting up in Calgary. Tudyk and Tyler Labine (“Reaper”) play “two good natured hillbillies who are mistakenly accused of being psycho killers by a group of college kids camping at the same lake where the hillbillies have just acquired a dilapidated cabin as their summer home.”

The movie, from writer-director Eli Craig, also features foxy young “30 Rock” regular Katrina Bowen. Tudyk will next be seen in the remake of the alien invasion series “V” and (presumably) on the next season of the mystifyingly renewed “Dollhouse”.
