Voices of Ga'Hoole

Anticipation for Zack Snyder's WATCHMEN has hit a fever pitch. As we try our best to embrace the last month of life as we know it, news has hit regarding Snyder's far lower profile film, not due till next summer. But since Snyder is about to be crowned the new king of Hollywood and perhaps the world, this suddenly becomes big news.

Jim Sturgess, Geoffrey Rush, Rachael Taylor and David Wenham have all been cast in Snyder's animated tale GUARDIANS OF GA'HOOLE, a story about a young barn owl and his friends who join the mythical Guardians of Ga'Hoole to protect the owl kingdom. Hugh Jackman, Hugo Weaving and Ryan Kwanten are also providing voices in the film, which is based on Kathryn Lansky's children's book of the same name. In the meantime, let's stockpile canned goods, mend any broken relationships, and make peace with the world. WATCHMEN hits in less than a month and shit is gonna hit the fan.

My amazingly beautiful and some how slightly nerdy girlfriend. She's much more excited for the Kick Ass movie though. Something is not boding well for Watchmen with me though.

I'll bring a change of clothes regardless

I'll most likely end up seeing it by myself since all my friends are like anti-movie buffs (meaning:autofans) but I don't mind seeing it stag, it'll make it less awkard when I cum in my pants, or have an outrageous hulk like tantrum and kill everyone in the theater, depending on how it turns out. Leaning towards the former though.

The wife. Midnight, baby.

We need more animated movies like this. Bring back the age of Watership Down and The Secret of NIMH.

Sounds neat. I'll give it a shot when it hits screen most likely.

Especially if he nails Watchmen, He'll become one of those directors who I'll watch pretty much anything of if he pulls it off.

Odds are I'll be seeing Watchmen with either the brother or a lady friend or 2...

Just realized that besides Sturgess, the cast is predominantly Australian.

Wow, this sounds like about as far from Snyder's previous efforts as he could get, so good for him, it's always good to stretch your creative muscles. Although I'm still waiting for him to make The Illustrated Man, hopefully before Bradbury dies.

Also, is it just me or does Rachel Taylor look a lot like Elisha Cuthbert in that picture?
