With James Franco's directorial effort on the making of THE ROOM beginning production next week, all sorts of casting news has been dropping. Earlier today we learned that Jacki Weaver, Ari Graynor and Kate Upton have signed on, and now we have word that Zac Efron will be joining in on the fun. More impressive, however, is how closely James Franco resembles the self-made star of THE ROOM, Tommy Wiseau. Check out the Franco brothers below!
Damn! James even has that weird eye thing going for him! THE ROOM is hilarious as is and I'm sure this behind-the-scenes flick, based on the book by co-star Greg Sestero (portrayed here by Dave Franco), will be equal parts funny and fascinating. I know there are some who'd prefer that Franco just leave THE ROOM alone, but take a look at the picture above. How could you deny those boys anything?
THE DISASTER ARTIST will open sometime in 2016.
