Feel the joy of the new My Little Pony: The Movie teaser trailer and poster

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

"My Little Pony, My Little Pony Ahh, ahh, ahh, ahhh… (My Little Pony) I used to wonder what friendship could be! (My Little Pony) Until you all shared its magic with me! Big adventure! Tons of fun! A beautiful heart! Faithful and strong! Sharing kindness! My Little Pony!"

Oh! Hey, ummmm … what's up? No, I totally wasn't singing the My Little Pony theme song to myself, just now. I have no idea what you're talking about. For your information, it's my wife who has amassed a vast collection of those blind bag pony toys and has stashed them all around the house, not me. Anyway, let's just get to the news and away from all of these accusations about my liking MY LITTLE PONY … even if I take no issue with the cheerful, intelligent and hilarious franchise whatsoever.

Today, we've got a real treat for all of you MY LITTLE PONY enthusiasts out there who are looking forward to when Twilight Sparkle, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Rarity, Rainbow Dash, Applejack, Princess Celestia and Derpy Hooves (yes, that's a real character) make their magical big screen appearance on October 6, 2017

Check out the brand-new teaser trailer for MY LITTLE PONY: THE MOVIE below which stars the program's original voice cast in additon to Emily Blunt, Liev Schreiber, Zoe Saldana and Sia:

We've also got a super cute poster to share with you as well!

Although I'm sure that I won't be making it to the theater to see MY LITTLE PONY: THE MOVIE when the film opens, I wouldn't be opposed to checking it out with my nieces when it hits the home market. I've caught a few episodes of the show here and there over the years, and have to admit that I was thoroughly impressed with what I saw. Not only is the show very well-written, it often times ventures into parts unknown with entire scenes winking at properties like THE BIG LEBOWSKI, DOCTOR WHO and other things that I enjoy. It's easy to dismiss the franchise, I get that, but I also recommend that you won't know if you'll like it until you've tried it. I'm not saying you need to purchase a ticket to Bronycon or anything, just that you maintain an open mind about something that brings people together and makes them smile.

MY LITTLE PONY: THE MOVIE will arrive in theaters on October 6, 2017.
