Most of us around these parts are looking quite forward to uber-screenwriter Charlie Kaufman’s directorial debut SYNECDOCHE, NEW YORK so it’s with giddy delight that we present to you the first still of the film courtesy of the folks at Ion Cinema. The story, to put it as simply as possible, centers on Phillip Seymour Hoffman’s theater director character, the complex relationships he has with the myriad women in his life and his increasingly complex new play that steadily blurs the line between fiction and reality. If you’d like a better idea of the film’s plot or would like to know more details of how exactly this film will fuck you right up, go HERE. The film’s set for release March 21st. Check out the rest of the right-pictured still HERE.
