Deadpool puts his own spin on a familiar holiday tradition

Last Updated on August 2, 2021

I know, I know… DEADPOOL is everywhere.

20th Century Fox is putting on the full court promotional press as we head through the holidays to let everyone know the Merc with a Mouth has a solo flick landing in theaters in February. And while I can understand if you're starting to feel it's a bit much – we still have to get through January, so you ain't seen nothing yet – at least there is a freshness to it all. They're trying new things in order to stand out among all the other noise.

That brings us to here, as Deadpool is putting his own spin on a familiar holiday tradition – the Yule Log. For many decades, the Yule Log has turned your television into a makeshift fireplace for you, your family and your friends to gather 'round, while listening to Christmas carols, in order to get into the spirit of the holidays. Deadpool certainly has the music for you to enjoy, but the fireplace…? Well, he has a different idea of a crackling flame for you to get cozy in front of.

Enjoy.

DEADPOOL hits theaters on February 12, 2016.
